Overlooking the port of Skopelos and the sea beyond, the house sits on a rather large site amongst an olive grove. The project consists of the main house, at the upper level of the site, and a guest house tucked away to the side without either dwelling encroaching on the other in terms of space or view. Local materials were used for both houses and the surrounding landscape.

The main house is connected via three interlocking volumes – the entrance volume, acts much like that of the landing of a staircase. It leads up to the private spaces of the first floor and down to the communal areas of the ground floor. The first floor’s volume is clad in stone and cantilevers above the transparent glazing of the ground floor volume acting a shading device.
